Ceramic watts

Alumino-silicate fibres exhibit high temperature stability for continuous use at temperatures up to 1400°C. All fibre products are characterised by, low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, excellent thermal shock resistance, light weight, and superior corrosion resistance.
Fibres are available in over 50 product forms, providing solutions for high temperature applications in a wide range of markets. These product forms include Bulk Fibers, Durablanket® needled blankets, Duraboard® insulating boards, Modules – including Bonded Modules, Prismo-Bloc Modules, Anchor-Loc® and Anchor-Loc® 2 Modules, papers and felts, textiles, and coatings and mixes. fibres are also used in Foamfrax® Insulation – advanced high temperature insulation for furnace lining applications.

High Temperature Insulation Products
Provide innovative solutions for high temperature applications..

Bulk Fibres
A wide variety of standard and custom fibre forms offer unique solutions for vacuum formed production, reinforcement, filtration, and filter applications up to 1400°C.
Bulk fibers are manufactured to be used as feedstock in manufacturing processes or other applications where product consistency is critical. Bulk fibers are typically used in the manufacture of other ceramic fiber based product forms. Unifrax is a leading manufacturer of both refractory ceramic fibers and soluble fibers.

Blankets
Produced with advanced spinning technology, Durablanket, high temperature insulation blankets are made from long-staple, inorganic spun fibres, needled to produce exceptional strength.
Unifrax blanket and mat products consist of a group of thermally efficient high temperature insulating materials that combine the advantages of both low heat storage and complete resistance to thermal shock. Offering a broad range of thermal capabilities and physical characteristics, this product family provides proven and effective solutions to a variety of heat processing applications.

Boards
Rigid, durable, and highly refractory. Duraboard high temperature insulating boards are available in thicknesses from 3mm to 200mm.
Unifrax rigid board products are manufactured to provide excellent performance in any application which requires high modulus of rupture (MOR) and a rigid form. The product is designed to resist erosion, vibration, mechanical stress, and can be easily customized on jobs to fit any installation.

Modules
Modules offer multiple-attachment options designed to meet the needs of specific application requirements. modules include Bonded Modules, Prismo-Bloc Modules, Anchor-Loc and Anchor-Loc2 Modules - with a range of attachments: Thread Loc® Systems, Screw Loc® Systems, Power-Loc® Systems, Weld-Loc® Systems, RX2 and WA.
The Anchor-Loc® module system is a family of ceramic fiber module products designed to meet a wide range of application requirements in a variety of heat processing vessels. Anchor-Loc Modules, Anchor-Loc2 Modules, and Fiberwall® Bonded Modules are available in a variety of temperature grades, densities, and attachment systems to best suit each specific customer requirement.

Papers and Felts
Products include the most extensive line of ceramic fibre papers and felts available. These high temperature insulation products are easily die cut and fabricated for a variety of thermal applications.
Unifrax paper and felt products consist of a group of wet-laid nonwoven materials. The materials are manufactured using Unifrax alumino-silicate fibers wet-laid with a latex binder system to form a randomly oriented matrix. These products are flexible, light weight, and posess excellent thermal characteristics..

Textiles
A broad selection of fibre textiles, ropes and braids, used for high temperature packing and gasketing applications.
Unifrax offers a broad selection of ceramic fiber textiles, ropes and braids used for high-temperature packing and gasketing applications.

Coatings & Mixes
Shipped wet, coatings and mixes are ready to apply for a variety of high temperature insulation and sealing applications.
The specialties family of products provides a range of product forms which offer a choice of materials to address a wide range of application problems, such as resistance to hot gas erosion, flame impingement, the ability to be formed into special shapes and configurations, installation into blind hot spots and hard-to-insulate areas. These products also possess the advantages inherent with other ceramic fiber insulating materials: high temperature resistance, excellent insulating properties, thermal shock resistance, chemical stability, and ease of installation.

Insulation
Offers exceptional energy savings, installation speed and lining performance for upgrades of existing fibre linings, lining over refractory, and furnace lining patches or refits.
